On Friday, the 16th of December 2022, the Quantum family celebrated Christmas together.
We started the day off with our usual workday, working hard to meet and exceed our customer’s expectations all whilst thoughts of the upcoming feast and celebrations lingered on our minds.
By the close of the workday, Quantum House had an excitable ambience, with everyone rushing around getting their best outfits ready. It was also a chance for the two branches to catch up, and for some, to finally meet other members of the Quantum family.
Once we arrived at the restaurant, the quirky and festive décor of the restaurant, with vintage woodwork interior designs, and low-hanging lights with candy canes hanging from them – not edible, unfortunately – set the mood for a fun and festive celebration.
Whilst there, we eagerly dove into our 3-course meal and drinks, several drinks, and for the first time, had almost every employee under one roof!
We then opened the Christmas crackers set up along the tables which had everyone donning brightly coloured paper ‘crowns’ by the end of the evening. And of course, they came with cheesy jokes and fun facts that kept us entertained.
The Christmas dinner event was a lovely reminder of the family-like atmosphere at Quantum. Despite the 2 branches being so far apart, everyone mingled about and interacted effortlessly, a testament to the friendly nature of Quantum employees.
Overall, with lots of food and even more drinks, the Quantum Christmas dinner was a joyous occasion, marking the Christmas festivities but also the eventful year we’ve had here at Quantum.
